Adaptic™ Touch Non-Adhering Silicone Dressing is a flexible, non-adherent silicone wound contact layer. The low tack silicone facilitates dressing application, prevents secondary dressing adherence to the wound and is atraumatic upon removal. Its open mesh structure allows fluid transfer to a secondary dressing, minimizing the risk of exudate pooling and maceration.
Product Features
- Enables fluid transfer to a secondary dressing reducing the risk of exudate pooling and maceration
- Protects the wound while minimising patient pain and trauma on removal and at dressing change
- Suitable for use, under medical supervision, with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) for the protection of fragile wound structures
- Suitable for dry to highly exuding, superficial and deep chronic wounds including: venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, donor sites, partial and full thickness burns, traumatic and surgical wounds
