- Food for special medical purposes: A powdered isoleucine amino acid supplement on a carbohydrate base.
- Ingredients: Dried glucose syrup, L-Isoleucine.
- Indications: For the dietary management of inborn errors of amino acid metabolism from birth.
- Warning: Must only be given to patients with proven inborn errors of amino acid metabolism under strict medical supervision, suitable from birth, for children under twelve months when made into solution or added to infant formula, use immediately and discard any remaining within one hour, not for use as a sole source of nutrition, for enteral use only.
